Easy Fall Cornucopia
What do you get when you take a recycled tomato cage from the garden and add some burlap from the craft room?
A Burlap Cornucopia
For this super easy project you will need:
Tomato Cage
Wire cutters
Burlap- to wrap around the cage cornucopia
wire – to wrap the end of the cornucopia form
glue gun- to secure the burlap while on the wire cage
One hunky husband to model the illustration while I take pictures
Step 1
Take you wire cage and cut to size. For my cornucopia (above photo) I used three sections and cut the top one off with the wire cutters.
Step 2
Shape the point (tail) of your cage by bringing the ends together
Step 3
Wrap your wire securely around the ends
Step 4
reposition any rims that need to be adjusted, so that the cornucopia is even when it sits on the table
Step 5
Wrap the cornucopia with burlap and use your hot glue gun to secure onto the metal frame. Stuff the cornucopia with floral foam and add your embellishments.
Enjoy on your table during the Fall Season!
