True Story – How Two Silver Bowls Became One
When my husband and I first met we connected on so many levels. We were completely compatible , we shared the same interests and believe it or not we shared the same BOWLS!
Living in Houston Texas in the mid 90’s, I shopped a good deal at Garden Ridge Pottery. I purchased this beautiful silver bowl and adorned it in my single life decor.
Fast forward 3 years later, I move to Atlanta and meet my future husband. He invites me to his house for dinner one night and I gladly accept….. of course I can’t wait to check his place out!
I walk in and what is sitting on his table?
Fate, destiny, could it be, the same silver bowl!
Even if he was not directly responsible for picking out the bowl
( his sister did), I still believe it was a match made it heaven.

Fast forward to the present.

Just found your beautiful blog via Kristine's. Love the tale of your two bowls! Sounds like it was definitely meant to be. I'm a TX native living in GA too. Happy to follow along!
Hi Laura, I didn't know if you saw my prior comment that I had featured you…but wanted to let you know again.
Also, thanks for sharing this very sweet story. I bet you couldn't believe it when you saw that bowl. Very special!!

And the two became, well still two for the bowls.
Happy Anniversary!!
What a great story! I worry the neighbors would talk if I filled my bowls with wine corks …

The only bowl Brawn and I were compatible with was the toilet bowel. We both knew how to clean them.
Happy happy anniversary.
