The Most Amazing Tree That Comes In A Box
Truth be told, I didn’t know that a live Christmas Trees could be delivered to my door , but it can be. This beautiful 7 foot Frasier Fir showed up right before Thanksgiving. And I am a believer! The proof tree is standing in the Dining Room.
When the folks at Green Valley Christmas Trees reached out to me and asked me if they could send me a tree from their farm, I said yes….. reluctantly. A tree that I would pick out on their web site….that would arrive at my door step 48 hours later. It all seemed a bit too good to be true. And quite convenient I might add. Since we have always gone and gotten a real tree each year, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. Not seeing the actual tree that was going to be cut and sent, had me filled with a bit of uncertainty. But Green Valley wanted me to compare the difference. The difference between a Green Valley Christmas Trees vs. a Big-Box Store Christmas Tree. I can do that.
My experience with the most amazing tree that comes in a box
This is how the tree showed up at my door. When I picked the type of tree I wanted, I selected the exact day that I wanted my tree to be cut. This ensures freshness when it is delivered to your doorstep 48 hours later.
Since it was late when I got the box, I waited till the next day to open it up. Surprisingly a freshly cut and fresh smelling tree was waiting to get out of the box.
I placed it in a bucket of water so that it stayed hydrated. Water is all your tree needs. When dealing with live trees, this is the most important thing you can do. This will ensure the longevity and health of your tree during the holiday season. Do this before decorating the tree.
The tree from Green Valley is so pretty just bare. I left it alone for a few days before deciding to put just a few ornaments on it. Since the tree was perfectly symmetrical and full, Â I placed it right smack in the middle of the Dining Room. I was pleasantly surprised, since this hasn’t always been the case with other live trees that we have brought home.
 So what did I think?
So, how did the Green Valley Christmas tree compare with another live tree that we got for the family room? Click here to see more of this space.
Other then the size, no difference at all. In fact, if I could have stayed in pj’s and ordered one this big I would have, just like staying in our pj’s to decorate it. The moral of the story, if you want a live Christmas tree that is fresh and symmetrical and have access to the internet give Green Valley Christmas Trees a try this holiday season. They also have garland and wreaths.  And right now you get 30% sitewide. This ends on 12/5. Oh, shipping is free too.
grateful
for pretty Christmas trees
I was provided product in exchange for my review of Green Valley Christmas trees. All opinions expressed are just my own.
Wow! That’s a cool idea! I’ll have to remember that when the kids get older and move out and aren’t here for the whole tree shopping experience!
what will they think of next. maybe someone will begin decorating bloggers home just in time for holiday tours! happy weekend!
Now, that is good marketing. The live trees you buy from big box stores have been cut long before they get to you. This tree is fresh and should easily take you through the entire Christmas season. A great idea for those living in cities as they quite often don’t have access to fresh trees.
i know right. the tree was amazingly fresh when i got it out of the box. thanks for stopping over!
Beautiful tree and so easy to get great idea.
