Latest Project around the house
I know I know, I haven’t even shown you the last project I completed (son #2 bedroom) and I have already moved on to something new. I am waiting on a sunny day to photograph his room. You can see my progress here. Until then, I have moved on to the breezeway. Nothing major, just a color change on the walls and ceiling.

It snowed again in North Georgia !
Twice in one month is kinda a big deal around these parts. A bigger deal may be all the areas south of us that got a ton of snow. Can you believe Florida got snow??? Yesterday we just got a dusting, but it’s been so brutally cold that it was icing over. Kids are enjoying another snow day.
Two more mouths to feed
One of the mama’s had two baby kids the other week. It figures it was during the last snow event and so cold. We were expecting the arrival, so we were fully prepared with bedding and heat. Their names are Dixie (brown one) and Dolly (black one).
Other total randomness
- I am totally hooked on Making The Team. Series about the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders.
- Did I tell you that since August I am working with a trainer at the gym trying to get buff. Not really…on the buff part, but I am enjoying lifting weights. I have been a cardo girl for most of my workouts in the past.
- Speaking of my health, I think another hip replacement (this time on the left side) is in my future this year. Turns out I have another torn labrum. Replacement may be a better option than repairing it. Catch up here on my hip replacement on the right side back in 2021. I will be bionic before I know it!
- My hubby got me a new monitor for my office. I said I wanted something sleek and curved and he delivered.
- Trying to see if I can do something just as amazing as this for Valentines Day this year.
- We use our hot tub year round, so I ordered this suit the other day.
