Best Place to buy a Pumpkin
Our town no longer has a pumpkin patch so the last few years I have had to search elsewhere for pumpkins. I use them for decoration around the house and porch and then will cut them up and give them to our animals, so they never go to waste. I have found Aldi, Publix and Kroger typically have the best prices but Home Depot has the biggest variety.

The Season has begun
Jacob and his fishing partner kicked off the High school fishing season down in Eufaula Alabama this weekend. Boys placed in the top ten, not bad considering there were 135 boats on the water.
In the kitchen
My biggest downfall is a donut. If they are homemade….even better. Lily whipped these up using this recipe. Another dish we made this week was one pot stovetop lasagna. Not only was it super easy….there was none left.
Total Randomness…but true
Colton came home the other day and said ” I think McDonalds is selling mini cheeseburgers”! They are not. What’s interesting is, everything else seems to have supersized and the cheeseburger got smaller?
This was an interesting article about ACV (Apple cider vinegar). Form your own opinion on the benefits, but my hubby has taken it for years an no longer needs cholesterol meds. I take these ACV gummies for better gut health.
I am 3rd episode in on ‘Monsters’ on Netflix. The story of the Menendez brothers. So far I am interested enough to watch what’s left.
I saw the best movie this week called ‘The Forge’. The movie was inspiring, uplifting and just so good. See the trailer here.

Hi, I literally cannot read your blog because of all the continuous pop up ads that cover the reading material. As soon as one ends another pops up. Four at a time Love your blog but I’m going to have to give up on it. This doesn’t happen with any other blogs. They have ads but they go away and don’t cover what I’m trying to see.
