How to make peanut butter cookie brownies

Lily came home from a sleepover last weekend raving about a treat they made. Lily’s gal pals love to bake so I knew this would be a good one. Little did I know how simple and delicious this combination would be. Your favorite cookie on top of a gooey chocolate brownie.

How to make peanut butter cookie brownies

If you can put together a pan of brownies and cookie mix you can make these peanut butter cookie brownies. I have used both chocolate chip and peanut butter cookies for this treat. Both are equally as good!

What you need

1 box of brownie mix ( oil, egg, and water)

1 package of cookie mix ( oil, egg, and water)

What you do

Step 1: Prepare your brownie mix and cookie mix according to the package directions.

Step 2:

Pour brownie mix into your baking pan. Scoop the cookie mix and evenly place it right on top of the brownie mix.

Step 3:

Bake according to the directions on the brownie box.

Step 4:

Let them thoroughly cool before cutting.

Serve warm with a scoop of ice cream or just eat them at room temperature. I cut them into smaller pieces because they are so rich with the added cookie.
