5 Ideas That Scream Summer
Set a beautiful summer time table
I love to set a ‘no fuss allowed’ summer table using items from around the house. My favorite item when setting a table is one that most people don’t think of but it’s genius….wrapping paper. I have been doing this for years and it’s a fun and creative addition to any table setting, and you probably have some just lying around.
Make a delicious Apple Cobbler
If I am going to be in the kitchen this summer, my preference is quick and easy recipes that the entire family will love. My apple cobbler using biscuit mix is such a crowd pleaser in my house and when I am entertaining guests.
Easy Jute Placemats for your summer table
These jute placemats would be perfect on your table this summer. They are so easy to make and you only need a few items to assemble.
Must have backyard pool essentials
Regardless if you will be splashing in an inground, above ground or kiddie pool, there’s a few things that will make your backyard pool time that much better this summer.
Easy Summer plants for your yard and garden
Although the temps are starting to heat up, doesn’t mean you can’t have beautiful color and greenery in your garden. I have put together some of my favorite plants for your summer garden that require little to no maintenance so you can be doing other fun things this summer.

What your kids go back to school in July, I’ve never heard of that before but it has been a hot minute since I’ve been in school, LOL. That wouldn’t work in my neck of the woods, the older kids need to be working on the farm doing hay in the summer and the school would be empty here. There’s only 400 kids in the entire district. Are the roses in the first pick wild roses? They are beautiful! I’m looking forward to doing some summer dining out on the porch. Enjoy your summer!
What lovely summer ideas! Our kids won’t get out until the end of June and go back right after Labor Day. I can’t believe your kids go back at the end of July!
