Festive Holiday Pillow Covers
9 festive holiday pillow covers that you can mix in with your current pillow situation for a fun budget-friendly holiday look each year.
If you know me, you know I love mixing up the pillow game around the house. Inside and outside spaces. During the holidays my pillow game is no different. I love to throw in a festive holiday pillow cover with pillows that are already on the couch or in the stash. What I love the best is that most of my holiday pillows and for a set of two, and cost less than lunch did yesterday. I have had most of these festive pillows on repeat for the last several years.
Each year, I will mix and match them with other pillows or colors depending on the theme that I am using for that season. This year on the front porch I paired some olive green pillows and throws with black buffalo check. It’s a perfect look beyond just the holidays.
Classic Buffalo Check
Here is another example of when I paired the buffalo check with plum in 2016 and then with red in 2019. You can never go wrong with a classic pattern like buffalo check. Point here…….. Mix it up.
Add a seasonal pillow to your existing color scheme
I love this watercolor tree pillow cover I bought several years. I have used it all over the house with various colors. One year I kept the screen porch relatively the same as the previous season and added the pillow and some extra throw blankets for a cozy winter look. This year I ended up using it again on the screen porch after I took pictures of this tour.
Can’t go wrong with plaid
Whenever I can’t deviate from my traditional red self during the holidays, I drag these classic red and black plaid pillows out.  You won’t believe the price point for most of these pillows. I bought most of these that you see from Amazon. The chunky knit naughty and nice came from PB years ago.Â
These are another traditional plaid favorite. I got the plaid throws at HomeGoods a couple of years ago as soon as I found the pillows on Amazon. Here I combined them with the same green pillows that I use in my decor every year.
Not only is the price point on all these pillows too good to be true, but the covers are also all washable. If you are looking for a gift idea for that hard to buy for person, you may want to consider cute holiday pillow covers.
