Simple Sunday Around Duke Manor

He showed up one day ….and never left. Peanut has been a faithful family member for 6 years now. Sadly living in the country you see more mattresses and unwanted dogs on the side of the road. With the exception of Rosie (the smallest dog in the photo), all the dogs that we have are strays or rescues. We currently have 4 dogs.

Spiders and webs are all over this year. Spiders completely gross me out but something about the webs has me so intrigued.  I read somewhere that it takes a spider one hour to spin a web. Which may explain why I see them everywhere.

All my kids help out with chores around the property. From mucking the fields to bush hogging. It certainly helps to have extra hands to get things done.

When we are finished with our work, we do a lot of this…chill. We are total homebodies and we love it that way.

Speaking of chilling out, I hope you find time to that today as well.
