Tuesday Catch up at Duke Manor Farm
It’s been a hot minute since I have shared any updates from around Duke Manor Farm. Not sure why because there have plenty. See the latest projects inside the house and outside on the property in my Tuesday Catch up at Duke Manor Farm.

Outside Projects
For as many projects going on inside the house, there are just as many going on outside around the property. We are getting ready to welcome some company to the farm so we have been fixing fences and building additional walk-ins for the animals. I have decided to expand my farm business and board horses. I’ll start off small and see how it goes. This past weekend we dismantled an older structure that the goats were hanging out in and rebuilt it to be more goat friendly. If you didn’t know goats DO NOT like to get wet so having a place to shelter during bad weather is important. Basically, we cut the old structure in half ( below picture) and moved it to a different pasture. I am waiting on some metal for the roof and then will show you in more detail the digs that the goats live in.
Inside Projects
When don’t I have an inside project! Actually, I am pretty proud of myself that I finished two complete projects in the month of January. My last project in 2020 that I finished up was my master bathroom that you can see here. Lately, I have been trying to be very deliberate in checking off all the boxes from one project before moving one to another. As soon as I photograph the spaces I will share my master closet refresh and Lily’s artroom. Here are some in-progress pictures.

Rug Deal
I am always looking for runners that can take a lot of action yet not break the bank. I found this rug on Amazon the other day and love it so much that I am getting a bigger version for under the kitchen table. The rug is soft and the pattern is so forgiving that it can take a lot in high traffic areas. This is the Loloi in Taupe and Stone.
Health and Wellbeing
Since the year started I was committed to get in 4-6 miles in Monday-Friday. For some reason it has triggered some hip issues that I have had for a few years that are now affecting my lifestyle…. and the fact that I am not ready to walk like a 100 year old woman! IÂ will be seeing an orthopedic next week to see what’s going on. Until then I have been using the exercise balls and bands that I got here to help with my upper body and core. What I like about the ball and bands is you can move it from room to room and do a variety of exercises with it.
I’m still faithful with apple cider gummies for my gut and have added  flaxseed oil  to my daily supplement routine. I have always heard that it is good for your heart but a friend recently told me that it also helps to balance out hormones. Yes please!
Thanks for stopping by for Tuesday Catch up at Duke Manor Farm. I hope January has been good to you!
Big hugs,

Everything is beautiful but I fell in love with your carpet…
thank you
Wanted to share with you, my husband started taking Osteo Bioflex Triple strength for his hip pain. After 2-3 months of taking it wow his pain is gone. Was looking at a total hip replacement but thinks he will wait on that now these HUGE pills are working.
Also, please be careful with the flaxseed. I was taking 1000mg a day. It ups your estrogen and therefore I ended up with breast cancer.
Enjoy your posts!
Glad your hubby is pain free with his hip. I will have to look into Osteo Bioflex ( I see the commercials) Will also need to ask my doctor about the flaxseed. with my mom having breast cancer. I hope you are doing well.
