Musings at Duke Manor Farm
Welcome to Musings at Duke Manor Farm where I am sharing a peek at my latest bathroom project, my fall front porch and wondering where the heck times goes.
My latest project….Finished!
I finally wrapped up the lastest project at Duke Manor Farm over the weekend. My master bathroom refresh is finished…well almost. Waiting on some artwork to arrive and I then I can cross another long-overdue project off the list. I’ll be sharing a full reveal as well as a post on tips for painting cabinets and drilling new holes for hardware. Speaking of which, cabinet hardware is a game changer. Until then here’s a peek.
Fall Tour 2020
On Wednesday I will be participating in the annual Fall tour. This year I will be sharing the most popular spaces during the fall season , the front porch, and the screen porch. The back porch is going full traditional fall color and the front is getting soft blues and beiges. Honestly, I love them both! You can start the full tour here. It runs all week. Take last years tour here.
Slow down please!
Where the heck does time go? No really. Facebook so graciously shared this memory of the twins over the weekend. Lily in a tutu eating a banana and Jacob checking out things on the tree house. It seems like just yesterday and now they are in middle school!
Years later, you still can’t take the outdoors out of my girl or make her wear shoes outside! I took this picture of her this weekend on the tire swing. She did’nt know I was watching as she sat on the tire swing for what seemed like an hour. I wonder what she was thinking?
With all the uncertainity and unsettling times that we are faced with right now , we all need more tire swing moments. Don’t you think?
Have a great week!
Grateful
for memories
that last photo is the sweetest. Sometimes I wish we could read our kids’ minds, but most times I am glad we can’t!
I would love to have a porch swing right now. I think I would be able to put many miles on it during this pandemic!!! Your daughter looks so at peace enough though her back is to camera. A beautiful moment to cherish forever.
I meant to say “even”. not enough…
