Easy Spring Floral Arrangement

I never get tired of pretty floral arrangements….or Girl Scout cookies. Especially thin mints. They are just so easy to enjoy ( especially when you put them in the freezer)  kinda like this spring floral arrangement I am going to share with you today. Who’s ready for Spring?

Easy Spring Floral Arrangement

Before I share how simple it was to put this beautiful arrangement, you must read my biggest tip when buying flowers from the grocery store. I shared it last week in my Duke Manor Farm notables here. Your welcome!

What you need to make this arrangement

I started off with some 2 hydrangea stems, some white roses, miniature yellow roses, and some floral greens (filler).

What I did to make the arrangement

steps-arrangement
  • Start with a base. I used the hydrangaes since they were the biggest flower. The vessel I was using only needed two big flowers as the base.
  • Fill in with your second flower. Once I cut the stems at my desired height, I began placing the miniature yellow roses randomly in the arrangement.
  • Use your floral greens at random heights and taller then your floral stems. This is so everything is not at the same height and it will create some visual interest .
  • Fill in with your third flower particularly where there are any gaps or holes in the arrangement.

The secret to keeping my blooms fresh and long-lasting is to replace the water and cut the stems every few days. I only use water with my arrangements and don’t use those floral packets that come when you buy the flowers. Freshwater seems to do the trick just fine.

I hope this easy spring floral arrangement inspires you to make something pretty this weekend. Speaking of inspiration, you won’t want to miss the rest of the cozy living ideas. Just click the links below.

  1. There’s little I love more in my home than fresh flowers. They make everything instantly happier! This is such a pretty spring arrangement Laura. The color combination is perfect, so soft and subtle. Have a lovely spring!

  2. So fresh and spring like. Im anxiously waiting for spring to stick around here in Michigan. We get a few nice days and then it’s snow again. Beautiful arrangement. I’m always drawn to yellow flowers for some reason.
