The first blooms of Spring at Duke Manor Farm…and some of the crittersThere is one season of the year that needs no narrative. The beauty of new growth, the color emerging after a long, cold winter and the freshness of it all. The story of renewal. Spring is that season where pictures can tell the story. Welcome to this months Cozy Living Series. I am joining my Cozy Living pals who are sharing creative and inspirational ideas to create a cozy home. All the links will be at the end of this post. Special thanks for my pal Jennifer from Town and Country Living who hosts this series each month. Click here to see all my previous cozy living posts.
The first blooms of Spring at Duke Manor Farm
My mother always told me silence is golden. Today I am using that same principal as I guide you around the property and share how we are ready to usher in my favorite season of the year….Spring. Growing up I use to think that every bit of space had to be filled with action or words. It felt weird to have ‘awkard silence’…like something must be wrong. I felt like I always had to be doing ‘something’ or I felt lazy. As I have gotten older, I now feel the complete opposite. A room full of people talking to ‘talk’ is more awkward sometimes then the silence is. Doing nothing from time to time is actually good for your mind and body. So I won’t ‘talk’ about how much I love the property at Spring time, you’ll see through the images…. and through my silence.
And for those of you with snow on the ground and feel like Spring is a distance dream, I leave you this

Your home and yard look glorious with all those blooms and green grass. We still have snow here so it was nice to see some pretty flowers and greenery outside. xx

Laura, your pictures are beautiful! The daffodils and tulips are gorgeous! So nice to see those beautiful flowers — and also your horse and other animals you have. Your home and property are so beautiful! Thanks for showing us your lovely Spring pictures! We just have to dream about Spring for a few more months! My hubby brought me some tulips home the other day so I am enjoying this little touch of Spring with all our snow! Enjoy your lovely home and yard! Blessings!
Thank you so much for sharing your blessings,as of this morning we have a wind chill of -20 😩. Your pictures were a much needed reminder that Spring is somewhere.
