My first Jord Watch

My pals at Jord ( pronounced  Yode….like Yoda without the a) couldn’t have approached me at a more perfect time to talk about their fabulous watches, then now.  I have been a big fan since I first shared the Sidney watch back in 2015 here.   I loved how versatile and pretty that watch was.  You know the saying “I would give my shirt off my back”, well my saying is “I would give the watch off my wrist”. True story. I was on 4th grade bus trip for 5 hours  last year and sitting next to a friend. I got on the bus with my Jord watch, and got off without it. See, she loved my watch so much that somewhere in that 5 hour bus trip I gave it to her. I wanted her to have it  because she loved it so much. Not that I didn’t, but I had another Jord wood watch back at home. I totally get the feeling when you see the watch. It is so unique and beautifully made.

Then in 2016 I got an opportunity to work with Jord again . This time I selected the Zebrawood and Navy.  You can read all about how I styled it here. The darker color of the wood band and the navy face made it a favorite of mine to wear. What I really love about the watch is that you can dress it up or down and around the farm that is is handy,especially when I am feeding chickens one minute and off to the kids school the next.

The Jord Watch Club

From the styles to materials to craftsmanship, this is the watch to have.  Tt seems that a few of my friends have noticed ( so does everyone else when I have a Jord watch on) my beautiful wood watches and have ordered a few of their own. Ha, for the record you do not have to have a Jord wood watch to hang out with me even though it appears that way.
