10 Hostess Gifts Under $10 for the holiday season
10 Hostess Gifts Under $10 that you hostess will sure to love
With the holiday season upon us , I like to stock up on a few hostess gifts that I can take with me when visiting friends and family. As long as I can remember I have showed up with a little something for my host. A little something to express my gratitude for their friendship, love and hospitality….. although, showing up empty handed is totally okay.
When choosing a hostess gift to bring, keep the hostess in mind. What do they like, what do they need. Showing up with a bottle of wine when they don’d drink would probably not be ideal, but a pretty tea towel that they can use or display would. I have rounded up 10 hostess gifts under $10 that any hostess would love to receive this holiday season.

Plants
A plant is a wonderful gift idea, especially an indoor one like this that even your non-green thumb pals can keep alive. Succulents are also another great option.
Board Games
This is a great idea, particularly if your hostess has a family. I try to figure out what games they like or need before I show up. Just in case, keep the receipt and they can exchange it for another game. This game is a fav around here, although you can’t go wrong with this classic game.
Drink glass markers
How many times have you picked up the wrong glass? I love these glass charms and they are a great practical gift for the hostess who likes to entertain.
Mini Griddle
I actually picked this griddle up for a single friend that I have and I can’t wait to see how it works. It looks like the perfect size if you are making one serving.
Napkins
This is a great idea….if the color and style work for your hostess. The safe bet is to go neutral like these napkins. Don’t forget cute napkin rings.
Kitchen Gadget
I thought this would be a great hostess idea for someone who loves to be in the kitchen. It’s a multipurpose bottle that has 8 different kitchen tools in one.
Candle
My #1 hostess gift to give and to receive is a candle. If I am not as familiar with my host, I like to stick to seasonal scents that they can burn during the holidays.
Book
If your host is a reader, a book is always such a thoughtful gift. When I give books, I like to choose the latest movie releases or something that I know the host is interested in. We are actually seeing this movie next week. Have you seen it yet?
Fun glasses
The hostess with the mostest would love some new stemless champagne flutes. I have these same glasses on my bar cart.
Dishtowels
This is another gift I love to give and to receive. Everyone always needs some new fresh dishtowels…..am I right? Love these and these.
Do you have a favorite hostess gift that you like to give …..or receive?
grateful
to welcome friends and family into our home all year long
