Look at your outdoor repurposed items in a totally different way
Now that it’s Spring, I’ve been doing a little Spring cleaning on the outside of Duke Manor Farm. These beautiful sunny days have me purging, cleaning and repurposing around the yard and shop as well. I am getting it all ready to enjoy…… once the pollen settles down. Is it bad where you live as well?
See how I turned an outdoor fire bowl into a flower container here.
Be creative and repurpose without spending a lot of money
I am joining my talented Thrifty Style group, to inspire you with two of my favorite outdoor projects. Projects using outdoor items that I totally re-imagined. This was stuff that had a totally different purpose from when I originally bought them. Once you see the projects, you may look at your outdoor stuff in a totally different way too.
Click here to see how I took an old plant stand and planter and turned it into a outdoor ice bucket.
You can my other thrifty ideas using household glass bottles for flower arrangements here and an easy cake plate here.
After you read this post and these other ideas, look around your house and the backyard and see what you can repurpose. When you are finished send me a picture, I would love to see what you came up with!

grateful
for the chance to repurpose something and not spend any money doing it!
Most of my outdoor stuff IS junk! Not the cool kind either like yours. Minnesota winters are hard on things that don’t get put away.
trust me….i got junk!
We’re so desperate for sunshine here that I’m just staring at your photos hoping they will somehow release some vitamin D through the screen. LOL! I love your creative projects Laura and wish I could come sit with you on that gorgeous patio!
hopefully soon it will. i actually just had my physical and I am low of vitamin D which surprises me since I am outside more then i am inside.
Repurposing is always the BEST! I love what you did to the plant stand turned beverage container…super cute!
Great ideas, Laura! I love to reuse “stuff” for the outside – it’s a wonderful way to decorate without spending any money.
I’ve been busy outside too. The pollen has finally let up.
