The Dogs of Duke Manor Farm

It’s no secret for our love for the dogs of Duke Manor Farm. Big and small, brown or black, the furry little critters that were once strangers are now a part of our family.

I love when I have the chance to share our dogs and the love that they provide to my family. I also like to promote anything having to do with the well-being and care for animals. That’s why I am excited to tell you about a new show on Z Living called Finding Fido.Z Living’s (the leading health entertainment TV network) newest show Finding Fido premiering January 17^th at 9pm is all about matchmaking, but instead of human couples, the host will pair people with pooches. Each week, one lucky dog will find their forever home. And one lucky person will find their new best friend.

Most of our ‘Fido’s’ were homeless rescues that found their way to Duke Manor Farm. Each has a story. Each is special. And all provide us with such unconditional love, that only a dog could do. Our latest dog Peanut showed up a few months ago and hasn’t left since. Peanut came to us a puppy so we are still dealing with all the ‘fun’ that puppies bring. We have any dog vetted that just shows up, hoping that perhaps they just got loose and we can return them to their owner, as it is so hard to imagine anybody just abandoning their pet But unfortunately it happens. Particularly out here in the country.
