4 Holiday Ideas using White Fur Ribbon
How many times have you had supplies left over from a project and had no idea on what to do with the leftovers? That was my situation with rolls of white fur ribbon. I love the stuff. So today, I am sharing 4 Holiday Ideas using White Fur Ribbon. I think the ideas are pretty cute and they are SO easy to put together. And when you get the ribbon at next to nothing, very budget friendly too.
4 Holiday Ideas using White Fur Ribbon
White fur wreath
This wreath is so cute and ridiculously easy to put together. I call it my wrap and go method. Basically you wrap the ribbon around the entire wreath form and bam….finished. I have included the instructions ….just in case.
Garland
I used some of the fur ribbon as garland on my white tree in the bedroom. It provided the perfect wintery vibe that I wanted on the tree. You can see the room tour including the Dining Room here.
Bottle Wrap
This is a perfect way to dress up a bottle of wine or other bottled libations that you may be gifting for the season. This is so super simple to do and the wrap is totally reusable. I also found some cute tags at the Dollar Spot bins at Target to add to the bottles.
Mug Wrap
Using the same method as the bottle wraps, I whipped up a few of these mug wraps with the fur ribbon. Aren’t they cute? Again, a great alternative to gift wrapping if you are giving mugs this holiday season. These will also work in your holiday home. The ribbon I used was a bit to wide for the mugs. I would suggest a smaller width, that way you are not drinking fur with your hot beverage.
A few pictures and notes to guide you as you make these projects.
- you can find white faux fur ribbon at any craft store. It will be either in the seasonal section or with the ribbons. You can also buy some here.
- when making the bottle wrap or mug wrap, start by measuring, then cutting and pinning.
3. you can either hand stitch or use your machine to secure your ends together. Cut off any excess ribbon and turn it right side out when you are finished.
4. for the mug, use the same steps above, but just cut out a hole where the mug handle is. When you are done, slip it on to your mug.
I hope my 4 Holiday Ideas using White Fur Ribbon will give you some inspiration if you have any fur ribbon left over. Or if you want to buy some to make or decorate with.
Happy Holidays!
grateful
for you
PS- Due to the nature and simplicity of these projects today, this post is dedicated to all the non-crafters out there that I love. You know who you are.
