6 Holiday Projects to Do this Weekend
Now that the last piece of the pumpkin pie is gone and the fall decor is put away, it’s time to get ready for December. The shopping, the holiday decorating …..and more eating. Here are 6 holiday projects to do this weekend that are festive, fun and easy. These are some of my favorite holiday projects that we have done at Duke Manor Farm.
6 Holiday Projects to Do this Weekend
Flock your own pine cones
This is a simple and easy project that can be done with just a few supplies and a couple of steps. What I love about this project is that everyone in the family can get involved. Get all the details here.
Create your own boxwood stars
These boxwood stars are perfect hanging from the back of a chair or in the window. I also included the details for a larger version to use as a wreath. All the details here.
Faux Fur Wreath
This is the easiest fur wreath that you will ever make. I call this the wrap and hang approach to wreath making. Seriously…Easy. This wreath will take you all of 5 minutes from start to finish.
Outdoor Lighted Stars
Need a new outdoor lighting idea this season? How about making random sized stars that light up to hang in your trees? We made these last year and will be using them again this year to light the night sky up around Duke Manor Farm
Burlap Trees
I love making these cute burlap trees. They would be perfect in your holiday decor or to gift to someone. I have the tutorials here for 3 different versions. You can make one or all three. You decide.
Festive Centerpiece
If you want to wow your guests with this easy festive centerpiece all’s you need are some flowers and candy canes. This is a repeat arrangement each year on my holiday table and is really simple to make.
I hope there is something in my list of 6 holiday projects to do this weekend that will inspire you to take the time to make something pretty for the holiday season.

family time
Laura,
You can’t beat fresh flowers (or silk ones) in a pretty centerpiece. The candy canes and greenery add to the holiday flavor! I love, Love, LOVE that fur wreath. Simple but intoxicating! I’ll be looking for that fur trim!
I love all your great ideal but my favorite are the hanging stars must be so beautiful at night. Also love the center piece so beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
