Simple Fall Floral arrangement using a fake pumpkin, dry leaves, and some fresh flowers. This beautiful fall arrangement takes only 6 steps to put together.

Now that summer is unofficially over, it’s time to start thinking about fall decorating and easy fall arrangements. Not to worry if real pumpkins aren’t available in your area yet, I used a fake pumpkin for this arrangement.

This is probably my favorite fall floral arrangement to make each fall season.  I use the same silver bowl, grapevine wreath, leaves, and pumpkin. The only thing that I buy fresh each year is the flowers. It is striking but only takes a few minutes and supplies to put together. You’ll see.

How to make an easy fall floral arrangement using a fake pumpkin

1. Start with your base which will be a semi-shallow vase or bowl. Note: You want it to be the width of the grapevine wreath. Place your grapevine wreath inside the bowl.
2. Insert floral foam. Put a piece of floral foam on the bottom of your bowl.
3. Place the faux pumpkin on top. This is all about using faux pumpkins, but a real pumpkin would be another option for this arrangement as well.

4. Fill around the wreath with leaves. Take some dry leaves and randomly fill in between the wreath and the bowls edge. Just stuff them here and there for a totally imperfect look. Don’t forget to let some of the leaves drape over the side.

5. Insert your flowers into the arrangement. Take your flowers and cut the stems 1/3 off. You will want them short enough ( but not too short) to stick into the floral foam.  Assemble the flowers around the wreath until you have the desired look of the arrangement that you want.

6. Water your arrangement.

In less than 5 minutes and six steps later you can put that fake pumpkin to good use and have a beautiful fall arrangement to look at.
