Master Bedroom Ideas Using White and Gray
I recently made a few changes to my master bedroom that, wait for it……. didn’t involve painting the walls. Yup, they are still the same  from when I painted them here, and I still love the color. Its called Rhinestone from SW. Changes were made to the bedding, artwork, lighting and rugs. Small, subtle changes that help to maintain my calm and peaceful retreat.
Master Bedroom Ideas Using White and Gray
Bedding
Let’s start with the fabulous bedding. Since I am a big fan of keeping it fresh, white and fluffy, I love how this Linden Duvet and shams  Crane & Canopy. It’s trimmed in gray and works with my other duvet and shams. The white duvet color allows me to layer on different colors throughout the year. Again, without making huge changes, but enough to keep it fresh. By the way, the white duvet is as soft as it looks in the pictures. It also has a zipper, so it is easier to remove for cleaning.
Flooring
I recently put the rug that has been in this room for 14 years into my breakfast area and got these new rugs from Target. They were placed on both sides of the bed. I did that for two reasons. One, the original rug was 9×12 and most of it was covered up by my bed. Two, to help minimize costs I opted for two smaller rugs in 5×7 size that I placed on both sides of the bed, that are perfect for keeping our feet warm before we jump into bed. The rug is super soft…just ask the toes.

Room Decor
A group of mirrors have been hanging over my bed for as long as I can remember. They have since moved here. I decided to change them out for these gorgeous prints from Minted. They pull in all the colors that I love for this space. The prints were matted and framed locally.
Since the furniture in this room is fairly large,  I needed the lamps to be more in scale with everything else, so I updated those to. They were gold, so I painted them white and found some gray and white shades. The old lamps have a new home in the guest house. Nothing goes to waste around here.
I hope my master bedroom refresh using white and gray might inspire you if that is your next color choice for your own space. To see more of my home at Duke Manor Farm click here.
Sweet dreams.

beautiful, laura! i love the rug and the lamps are perfect in white!
Your bedroom is one of the prettiest I have seen. It is beautiful and peaceful.
Gorgeous bedding and room, Laura. Where can I find it online?
Everything is beautiful, Laura. Your idea of using two separate rugs is very, very clever! I’m going to remember this when we get to the bedrooms at the lakehouse as the rooms are much larger than this house. I love your duvet and the arrangement of your pillows. I’m always scrutinizing the way people arrange their pillows…the size and shapes. Any advice on that? The prints are so pretty and I love the lamps. Other than Target I’ve never found a place that sells separate shades and bases. More advice? Ha! They look great painted, too. You are so savvy. Love it!! 🙂
