Fall Mantel 2015
This years fall mantel is all about being uncomplicated, with no fuss. Keeping it classic and simple.
 Mantel  tips and ideas
Temps change, colors change and so does the decorating. I have always been somewhat the minimalist when it comes to decorating for the seasons, but this year it has become a bit more apparent. I am embracing a few favorite things, sprinkling in the only real pumpkin that I could locate when I took these pictures, and sitting back and enjoying the season, for the next couple of months.
This year for my fall mantel 2015 I ordered a couple of lovely prints.  I had a mat cut for them and placed in a store bought frame.  I leaned it against the white mirror and flanked the ends with 2 blue glass vases with seasonal dry floral and…..
let’s not forget, a small little pumpkin.
Fear not, the great pumpkin has made its way to my small town and me and the kids will be heading to the pumpkin patch this weekend…for a bigger pumpkin.

thanks shelley. kinda how i wish my life was most of the time! hope you are having a great week. we are wrapping up fall break with the kids.
I need to find a mantel stylist, you wanna come over? I have not changed my mantel for… hmmm two years? Well at Christmas I do, but otherwise the same stuff goes back up in the same place.
say it isn’t so…2 years!! I will be right over.
Love the mantel, sometimes less is more.I’ve bought a few things from this artist love her work& reasonable prices. Thanks for sharing.
her work is gorgeous. i wish i had that talent. hope you are having a great week!
The mantel may be understated but it is a glowing testimony to the contrast of white and gray. The white frames against the stone of the fireplace stands out and the touches of orange are just enough to draw the eye right over there. Lovely!
Simple seems to be the name of the game lately! I’m totally with ya on that Laura and I love your mantel. That watercolor by Lucy is amazing!!
Looks lovely and fresh, Laura! Love the simplicity!

Love your mantel! So simple and clean. What exactly is the seasonal dry floral stems? I’m been looking for something and as soon as I saw yours I knew that was it! Where would I purchase?
I got them local at a floral warehouse. I don’t know what you call them. Sorry I am not much help.
