My Wall Of Shame….Butlers Pantry
After a while, 365 days after you started…..to be exact, things just start to blend in. They somehow become the norm in the room…if you let them.
And although you put a timeline together to get it done along with the added pressure of having parties, holidays and company……it doesn’t quite get past the finished line.
You only hope that your friends don’t notice or ask you why your doors aren’t back on, cause you haven’t finished sanding and painting …friends don’t do that. Besides, that would violate the friend code.
So they pretend like nothings wrong and instead they ask you where you got that cute bottle rack and for a cup of tea.
My kind of pals!
PS- hanging my head in shame unless you tell me that you have a project or two like this.
PPS- the bottle rack came from World Market.
grateful
for the love of my life…. today is our anniversary

omigosh Laura, you have such a great sense of style! Love this look! ps I can't tell you how many projects I have that are not quite complete… doesn't mean they don't look fab anyway though 😉
Happy Anniversary!! We all have those projects…and I have even declared several times on my blog that I was going to start working on something hoping that would motivate me! But I still haven't finished! Oh well! Enjoy your anniversary weekend!
Cheers! – Shelley
Happy Anniversary! Oh, and I have an entire house of shame. It's amazing how you just don't notice things after awhile …
😉 Linda
Happy Anniversary . I have a back yard that looks like this.
Happy Anniversary! I don't see anything wrong in these pictures. I don't think you need doors really…Besides, I have a backyard, side yard and laundry room that are shamful and in various states of mess – oops I mean there are a vast amount of incompleted projects in each of these areas because they are meant to be that way! Hold your head high!
Happy Anniversary, Laura. I think everyone has their own wall of shame. xo Laura
I have everything…big and small, started and then stopped. I picked out paint to do a piece of furniture before the holidays. When I'm not busy sometimes I just want to bury my head in the sand, Then I go to someone's home and I think, "Wow, they have switchplates in all their rooms!"
Happy Anniversary to the cute couple!! 🙂
