How to use pink in your decor….and make it work
Today it’s all about how to use pink in your decor….and make it work.
Say what you will, but I no longer think pink should be reserved just for little girl rooms. These beautiful living spaces…. I am assuming all used by adults, with various shades of pink, show how the color pink can actually complement a variety of styles and colors.

Aren’t these fabulous spaces? I love how they use the most common colors and throw in the pops of pink for an unexpected look. You can see that sometimes it’s just a pink pillow, pink flowers, pink pouff, pink chair or pink covered books on the coffee table that can add that pop of color to a space. Take those items away and the room is still fabulous, but there’s something extra special when you layer in the pink color.
So, what’s your thoughts on using pink in your own decor….or do you think it’s better in someone else’s?

my little lily and her love of pink
I love it, especially with gold/brass. And the new blog design is fantastic — very fresh!

not sure my boys would appreciate the color in our living spaces but it is so pretty! have a great day!
The highlights look great. I think most of us are afraid to go pink in an entire room unless it's for a little girl. Pink accessories in a room always work just fine, though.
You know I love color. I love your new blog design, too.
Oh, I spy a new header…Love it!!….and I have a subtle peachy/pinky Lee sofa that was gifted to me and very surprised how I have been able to incorporate that color into my room. I love when Sara Richardson uses that color and makes it look very gender neutral. Great inspiration!
Love the pretty in pink design updates! Pretty, tasteful and classic — just like you! 🙂 Linda
I like the new look of your blog. These rooms are fresh and feminine.
Love the color
Those are such pretty inspiration pics. I like pink in small doses. If I had a daughter though, I think her room would've been over the top in pink!
I'm not a big fan of pink, but the examples you give above have changed my mind a bit! A love the subtle pops of color.
I got lost and found Lily’s Pink Bedroom and even a non pinkish lover like me surrendered. That’s MY kind of Pink. Be Pink or Go home 😉
I’m kidding obviously but that’s an awesome redo I missed the first time around. Well done!
All your suggestions above are precious to prove that we all love pink. That’s some interesting rooms and details.
Thank you for sharing!
