It’s no secret that I love to change it up around the house, and why not, decorating for me should always remain fresh, pretty and what you love.
Today I am kicking off a 3 month challenge with some other bloggers, to decorate the same space, 3 different ways, using what you have around the house. Fun right?
Use What You Have To Create A Beautiful Space
The space that I am going to use for this challenge is my Living Room coffee table. Since this is one of the first areas you see when coming into my home, I am constantly looking for new and fresh ways to style the table….using what I have.
Typically the decor changes are driven by the season, but sometimes it’s when the moment strikes and I start taking from here and there to make it come together.
Greenery
Knowing my love for gardening, having greenery and flowers in my decor is a must. I always have fresh plants and flowers in some room of the house. Always. Plants do really well in this room cause of the load of natural light and flowers always bring such pretty color to any space.
Make it functional
I think its important to merge style and function in any space. On the table I placed some of my favorite books that I am reading right now. With all the natural light in this space, it’s a perfect spot to read and it also help to create a warm and inviting space for others.
Speaking of function. I grabbed this tray that was in this room and placed the flowers, the winter owl , a couple more books and my favorite candle. The grouping of different objects helps to balance it all out and clearly expresses who I am…… A girl who likes to look at pretty flowers, while reading her books in a nicely scented room. Ha.Yup, that’s me.
Next month, I will share another look for the table, using what I have around the house. In the meantime, stop by these other talented blogging pals to see what space they are tackling in the challenge

I'm inspired to clear away the pile of papers and mail and receipts off my ottoman and create a beautiful vignette with trays and owls and gorgeous flowers! Just lovely, my friend!

I love this challenge. I am always using what I have to create a new look. I got rid of so much stuff when we down-sized, that I just don't want to think about buying a bunch of new things that would in time create clutter.
As always your photos are amazing! Your coffee table looks gorgeous and I am in love with the rug underneath!
Thanks for sharing the site. I joined up and it is really fun. I can't wait to get some pictures up and ask for help.
