Credenza Makeover and Office Progress
Little by little, the changes in my office are coming together, but that’s basically how I am rolling these days. Sllllooooowwww.
Gone are the days where projects were finished in a weekend. Now it’s more like a few months. But hey…. at least today I can share my credenza makeover and office progress.
The credenza, which actually use to be my hubby’s bachelor dresser got sanded down and painted with a few coats of SW Dignity Blue.
Isn’t it a fun color! It’s a perfect match with the wallpaper that I am using, which is from the same company that I got the wallpaper in Lily’s bed room. I took off a couple of the doors and I replaced the original hardware and added some modern pulls in a satin nickel finish from Home Depot. You can find similar one’s here.
love its fresh new look- great color!
What a beautiful office it's going to be when it's finished! Love, love your inspiration colors and the credenza makeover is gorgeous!
Loving that blue. Such a happy color. Now get that room done. I like things done….yesterday!
Oh I LOVE it Laura….just love the colors and patterns that you have chosen…the credenza looks great!!!
The handles really made that piece 'wow'. Great job.
I love the color. I'm getting ready to paint a little antique kitchen cabinet, I had the color all picked out that is until I saw your credenza LOL, now I have to rethink the whole thing. I can't wait to see everything finished in your office, I just know it will be gorgeous.
I'm in the middle of the slowly putting it together family room. Just three projects left (for now) …
And I truly am loving the fun and bold direction you're taking!

Hey Laura! The blue looks so good with everything! And those message boards,,,,love how you did those. The blue just pops against the wood floor. Better choice than the mint.
that's a great looking blue! It really makes the room come alive.
Yep, almost ALL my projects are like that (quilting, scrapbooking, decorating, etc, etc, etc!!!) ! I struggle constantly with feeling like "a failure" (it doesn't help that most of my friends seem to be "poppin' out projects" like machines!). I'm soooooooo slow, but I'm almost always happy with the end results & proud of my completed projects. I know in my heart that that's the most important thing, but it's an ongoing conversation in my head : P
Laura that would be a fun accent wall and the cadenza turned out great. Love the color. I have project overload right. I started too many at once. I have to be finished for thanksgiving
