Apple Cobbler made with biscuit mix

Easy Apple Cobbler made with biscuit mix is such a delicious treat for your summertime gatherings and events.

I love easy and delicious treats, especially one’s where there is nothing left in the pan. This is one of those recipes.  I can assure you is, that this is going to be the best Apple Cobbler using biscuit mix that you have ever tasted.

The reason the cobbler recipe is such a big hit in my kitchen, particularly during the summertime months is, it’s so simple, requires just a few ingredients to make….and it feeds a crowd.

Apple Cobbler made with biscuit mix

What you will need:
8 x 8 baking pan or 1.5 quart baking dish
1 cup Biscuit Mix – any kind
1/2 cup of soft butter
Spray butter- for the bottom of your baking dish. You can also melt some butter to coat the pan.
1 cup of sugar
1/4 cup of raw/cane sugar- I used ‘Sugar In The Raw’
3/4 cup of milk- I use 2%
1 can of pie filling- Although I  used apple you can use any fruit filling in the cobbler.

Here’s what you do:
Spray or coat your baking dish/pan with butter
Mix butter, biscuit mix and sugars together
Add milk and continue stirring until completely mixed
Pour into your baking dish
Add pie filling over the top, distributing evenly. DO NOT MIX the two together.
Bake 30 mins at 350 temp.

Let it cool off before serving. Add a scoop of vanilla ice-cream and serve.

  1. Cobbler is a family favorite around here (usually blueberry or peach) ….I'm going to have to try this with the apple! It looks amazing! 🙂 Thanks for sharing.

  2. I think I will make this! I may even switch up the filling to be peach. I like that this recipe is flexible like that. I like how easy it is and perfect for the summer. Thanks for sharing it. By the way, I wonder why it requires raw sugar instead of granulated. Do you know the difference?

  3. I will be making this dessert in both apple and cherry. Hubs like apple not cherry so guess which pie we always have? I can make the flavor I want to share with our daughter whom is only other person that loves cherry like I do. Great cobbler. Look forward to making this soon. Glad you shared this recipe. Happy summer days
