Nothing like gorgeous, from your garden. My bearded Iris’s have exploded with blooms this week.
This garden got tilled over the weekend and is ready for planting.
I wish my kids would get along this well.
I have finally achieved my goal weight….even while eating at Dairy Queen.
Our first dance recital….she melts my heart. As she held the flowers that dad, and nana gave her after the performance, she looked at me and said” mom, I know you didn’t dance, but I want to give them to you, because I love you”

Oh my, this post made me laugh and also melted my heart 🙂 Congratulations on being so tall and lean, haha! Those little dancers are so special. Yours is quite a sweetheart, obviously. (My "little" dancer is now a professional in Chicago…I remember that first dance recital 20 years ago.) Enjoy!!
Awwwwwww……………….I'm melting over all this sweetness!!! Your daughter is precious in her costume. I used to dance and did the whole recital thing. I was SO hoping to have a girl to get to do that again (through her) but it didn't happen. My boys are too masculine to ever want to dance. LOL! Was that a sweet gesture she gave you or what??? Also the fill in the blanks form was hysterical! I love seeing what kids write. I remember my son had to write a recipe for something in pre-k and it was hilarious to see how to make something. That's a keeper!!

You grow some gorge Irises!! Your little dancer looked so sweet, I'm happy all went well!! I wish I could have a garden. I'm a wee bit jelly. I might get some strawberries for the deck, but otherwise it would get pretty crowded. We've got lots of room but the Deer would think it was all for them. lol. Glad the kitties are playing nice.
That is about the sweetest thing I've ever read. What a doll.

What a sweet and beautiful little girl! I got a similar about my mother question and answer sheet. Hilarious. Apparently my favorite food is bagels although I couldn't tell you the last time I ate one. So funny what they come up with! Hope you had a beautiful Mother's Day!
Oh, melt my heart! Your sweet little girl!! LOVE her in her dance outfit! I went to over 100 dance recitals and competitions… and loved every one! There is just something about little dancers!
