Here’s the reality of my life and specifically of my laundry situation…I need all the help I can get. I am not necessarily talking about putting the laundry in the washer machine and promptly moving it into the dryer, which of course would be super nice of you if you are offering, since there’s a few piles on the laundry room floor ready to go. I am talking about help with getting my clothes clean. And not from the occasional peanut butter and jelly sandwich smear, I am talking about from the Red Georgia Clay, and lots of it!
Unfortunately, red clay is inevitable and a fact of life if you live in Georgia, and it seems to intensify when you live in the country and have 3 active children and a husband who are forever outside…getting dirty. Since there is no way I will stand in the way of my children appreciating the outdoors, I need to find help with getting the laundry clean.
Tide has always been my detergent of choice and now Tide Pods are my new laundry BFF. I know that may sound silly, having a laundry BFF, but when you need as much help as I do, having a laundry BFF to support you is good. I mean who wouldn’t want a BFF that cleans, fights those stains and brightens all in one. Tide Pods does that.
I especially like that I do not have to measure and pour the detergent in the washer anymore. My BFF is easy, just toss a pod in the load and start. This is a picture of my BFF.
Tide Pods strong and reliable stain removing power certainly helps with the stubborn clay stains and…the peanut butter and jelly smears. Tide Pods is a detergent, stain remover and brightener in one. So even if some of those embedded clay stains do not come out, at least my children’s clothes will be brighter and clean!
If you are looking for a laundry BFF, I am willing to share information…….not do your laundry. You can click here for more information and how to purchase Tide Pods.
And if you leave me a comment below telling me any of your laundry tips, you will have a chance to win a $100 Visa card. That’s it. Easy and clean…just like Tide Pods.
Good luck and have fun doing the laundry!
Grateful for~
Little girls who like to play in the dirt

A college friend's mother was a chemist and she always did their laundry with the philosophy of for every action there's a reaction … using an element to neutralize the stain. So that's my reason for serving both red and white wine at gatherings (I pretty much stick to red myself) … if there's a red wine spill **immediately** pour white wine on it to neutralize, allow that to soak in, blot do not rub as much liquid out as possible, and if the item is washable use a solution of water and household ammonia for the final neutralize. Then launder one more time as normal. If white wine spills go straight to the blot, then water and ammonia, and then a regular wash.
Tide pods are my favorite too. Unfortunately, I never seem to have a coupon for them though. I'm VERY particular about stains on clothes. I sometimes find a stain left behind after I've washed them, and then use Spray & Wash spray on the stain. I re-wash it and usually that does the trick. That is my tip of the day! LOL! Thanks for offering this wonderful giveaway too!
I'm using a computer in the apt business office as mine is "sick". Just wanted to stop in and say "hello" and see your decor. Love the lights!! The walkway/driveway is so beautiful. I much prefer the warmer, white lights so let me know your thoughts once the bill comes in. 🙂 I have a small balcony but every bit counts.
Not a lot of laundry hints to share….I love using baking soda in the rinse cycle. Really helps with refreshing towels, sheets, etc. Of course, you can add it at the beginning too. 🙂
Have a wonderful weekend! We're in the midst of an "ice" warning ~

When my son played baseball (in white pants, of course) I had a woman tell me that if you soak the clothes in a solution made with dishwasher detergent, the stains would come out. (and making a paste of it and rubbing it in was even better) Maybe this would help on red clay?
I can't say I'm the best washer, but I do a fair amount of pre-cleaning to ensure any problem spots in my clothes gets out for sure!

The tide pods are great for people who live in apartment complexes or other areas with a community laundry. It's so nice to bring a pod or two instead of a whole bottle of laundry detergent.

If your towels develop that sour smell, use baking soda or white vinegar (or both) in the rinse water.
Only do full loads of laundry. It saves on utilities.
my tip is to pre-treat stains, and then throw in some oxiclean with the load.

I always wash on cold except for towels so my clothes stay brighter longer
My best laundry tips are to do the laundry on the weekend. Also try not to let it pile up too much so it doesn't become overwhelming.

My tip: Hang dry laundry. Clothes last longer and your electric bill will be smaller.
I use Tide Pods and Shout for my stains and it does a great job. I want to thank you for this awesome sweep and have a Happy New Year 🙂 corrysue@yahoo.com
I wash my clothes in cold water so they last longer and only wash them when they’re dirty.
Thanks for the contest.

Throw a color catcher strip into the laundry and forget about separating whites and darks.

The tide pods are great for people who live in apartment complexes or other areas with a community laundry. It's so nice to bring a pod or two instead of a whole bottle of laundry detergent.

My husband does the wash and he is paraplegic. The Tide pods makes it easy for him to get the soap into the washer.
I wait until I have a full load before I wash, and I love my HE washer – my water bill is much lower.
I wash in the cold cycle, I think it helps to keep colors bright.
