Fall Candy Apples

Okay….Can I get a collective Yummmmmm

And even if you are not a big fan of Candy Apples, you have to admit…..they sure do look good and they are so easy to make.

I think the best part about making candy apples is how creative you can be with the toppings.  From sprinkles to nuts to gold sugar dust…..anything looks good on an apple. And they are partly……..almost ……..kinda healthy too!

Candy Coated Apples
Medium size apples – red delicious, McIntosh, Jonathans etc
Apple Sticks – 5.75 in size
1 package of Candy Melts- White or Orange ( I buy mine in the baking isle at the Craft Store)
Candy Melt or Microwave
Wax paper
Assortment of toppings- sprinkles, nut, chips, colored sugar

Instructions~
Step 1- After washing and drying your apples take your apple stick and insert into the stem side of the apple. Apples should be at room temperature.
Step 2-Melt your candy melts.
Step 3-Dip apples  into your candy mixture, spinning around and tapping excess candy off the apple.
Step 4- Place apples on wax paper.
Step 5- After about 30 seconds but no more then 1 minute sprinkle your desired toppings on to your apples.
Step 6- Let set for at least 30 mins before enjoying your Candy Apples

Okay, one more time……Yummmmmmm.
Do you have a favorite fall treat?

Grateful for~
Healthy and not so healthly apples

  1. I'll take one of each please! Did you make all of those? They look amazing! I love candied apples, but they are hard to eat. I haven't had them in years. Thanks for sharing the recipes. I might give them a try.
