Favorite Summer Flower- Using Gladiolus
Question-
What do you get when you take 3-5 gladiolus cuts from the garden
A few green cuts from your crepe myrtle tree
And some blooms from the Butterfly Bush?
Answer- Beautiful Summer Arrangement
I will be back later in the Flip Flop Gardner Series to talk about some cutting tips for the Gladiolus and highlights of the Butterfly Bush, but wanted to leave you with a pretty arrangement to enjoy this week!

Laura,
Such a beautiful arrangement from a beautiful garden! I'm so jealous. Alas, I must rely on my grocery store for my fresh floral cuts …
🙂

Lovely arrangement, Laura…I would have never thought in a million years to put that combination together, and it is so pretty!
One of my friends sent me some glads over to the art show from her cabin's little garden, and they were so lovely. I should have taken a photo, but I didn't.
I LOVE gladiolus but have never planted them – may need to now. Already have the butterfly bush -it's going to be getting a lot of cutting this summer!

What lovely flowers! I love all the things you added that don't make it look like an arrangement of flowers.
your arrangement is gorgeous! i think we have some gladiolas sprouting up front! i can't wait to find out. 🙂 the fun of a new house with an existing garden is the spring surprises!
Lovely arrangement. One of these weeks, it would be great to have you join me at Seasonal Sundays.

Wow, it looks amazing and I love that you are able to just go around your yard to put it together! Thanks for sharing and I am a new follower!
Hope you are having a great Monday!

so beautiful. flowers make every space…better.
Gladiolus is so impressive in bouquets. Your kombinatin with branches from the butterfly bush is perfect. I wish you a nice weekend! Zinnia
A pretty bouquet, butterfly bush is a favourite of mine.
It is indeed a lovely arrangement… our glads aren't even out of the ground yet but are always a nice accompaniment to the end of summer here in Wisconsin… Larry
So beautiful–I also love the soft green pitcher that you used for your vase! My glads have only just sent up green leafy shoots, so quite awhile before I have any in bloom here.
Beautiful arrangement, don't you just love fresh flowers from your own garden? I have a bouquet I brought into work, and every time I look at it I smile. di
thank you for linking up to this weeks garden party over here at Fishtail Cottage. Your photo's are so pretty of your flowers that you brought indoors! xoox, tracie
