Pottery Barn inspired Numbered buckets
Okay, raise your hand, how many of you have made that over priced purchase and then months later realized “I could have made that”? Good…… I am not alone. And if that’s not you, or your are in the market for some pottery barn inspired numbered buckets, then this post is all about you. So I’m not only going to show you how to make these cute little buckets, but also how to save some money doing it.
This is that purchase. And painful as it was to see that I could save so much money recreating these pottery barn inspired numbered buckets, I just love these little buckets. They have been used in a variety of ways around the house, so technically I probably got my monies worth.
But when a friend saw them at the house one day and said she wanted them, I knew that I could save her a few bucks and make them myself for her, so I did.
Because that’s what good girlfriends do for each other….save each other money.
Yup, these pottery barn inspired numbered buckets cost a mere .99 for each pail, a can of spray paint and the stenciled numbers. I paid a bit more then that for the one’s that I bought at PB.. I think the one’s that I recreated look just as good as the ones that I bought, don’t you?
And my girlfriend loves them! Click here for the tutorial on how to make these pottery barn inspired numbered buckets.

I do that ALL the time. My problem is finding the time to do it. I say that to my hubby a lot too and he rolls his eyes at me 🙂

Lucky friend! They turned out so cute. ( I can envision dropping a plant in one and giving as a teacher's or housewarming gift.). Wonderful job!
You're a great friend – I want someone to make them for me and leave them on my front porch! Oh well, I guess I'll have to make them myself – but since they are so simple, I may just do that!
Glad you linked to our Cinch party! This is what it's all about!

Oh, these are just too cute! I'm envisioning some for my girls' playroom.
So awesome, I'm pinning the tutorial and I'm going to try this myself! Where did you get the 99 cent pots from?

I love these adorable pails. Anytime I see things I like in Pittery Barn I have to try and make it because I can't afford it.
Ruth

I love these! The PB version is great, but knowing that you made your own knock-off for such an inexpensive price makes the DIY version that much better. Lucky friend!
